Capoeira Senzala Ljubljana, under supervision of Contramestre Luis Claudio Pinto de Faria, is organizing the second event called II. Festa da Capoeira. The intention of the event is to promote conscience of capoeira itself and to support the Capoeira Senzala Slovenija school. Many well known capoeiristas and students from all over Europe are attending this event so should you. So book the weekend of 25th, 26th and 27th of June, 2010 for capoeira!

Friday, June, 25th

22:00 – 02:30 Party in Cafe SEM

Additional information:
Anyone driving into Slovenia should be aware that if you wish to drive on the highway, you need to purchase a Slovenian vignette (that blue sticker you stick to your windshield). If you fail to do so, you risk of paying a fine (about 300€ and up to 800€ – no joke!) to the highway patrol and they really take their jobs seriously. Too seriously! So, first thing to do after crossing the border, stop at the first gas station and buy the vignette! Or, even better, stop at a gas station just before entering Slovenia and get that 7 day vignette for 15€. Oh, and drive safely ;).

Keep in mind that June 25th is a national holiday! Most of the shops and whatnot are closed. Just some extra information for you if you plan on coming on friday morning with some spending money – not much spending on friday, June, 25th ;).
